About one one eleven

I'm Liz Lagedrost, multimedia artist and designer behind One One Eleven Design Studio. Thank you for joining me here and for your interest in my studio and artwork!

I started this website so that I could have a space of my own, which could grow and evolve as part of my journey and process. I grew up on a farm in Ohio, but moved to California after school. I’ve had a career as an Imagineer, graphic designer, architect and artist; and have designed and created immersive spaces across the globe.

Throughout my life, travel and immersion in our natural world, across diverse landscapes and urban spaces alike, have both fueled and sustained my fascination and creativity. My particular interest lies in the process of visualization and embodiment through artistic media, and I am fascinated by how an idea or experience can be expressed and then translated as an object, illustration, or representation. I am most at home with a pen and paintbrush, and yet I also love to explore an ever-widening horizon of other media and craft.
